okay, the season started without me and although i have read all your comments, ogled pics and have duly secured full match clips of the chievo game, i haven't had time to watch it. *hangs head low* i hope to catch them on sunday, but as i'm scheduled to fly the next day, maybe not a good idea. bloody time differences. the good news is that i'm heading for venice as usual.

ETA: roma 1-3 juve. sort of had one eye on the game for most of it and from what i could discern, the boy looked good to me. diego pawned. the fanboys on my local board are apologizing to secco suddenly for underestimating his mercato skills (including the boy and melo, of course). i'm still blinded by the white of ciro's shirt. damn, he looks good.

and lou, thanks for all your suggestions! on the strength of your advice, we skipped killarney altogether and just flew out to kerry, did a half day tour of the dingle peninsula with a lovely local driver who crammed everything in accoroding to my request. it was so tight that we had to skip lunch, but well worth it. connor's pass (with a rapidly decsending mist) was my fave spot of the whole trip, i think. all in all, it was a frantic few days, but very relaxing for some reason (part of it probably was because we were staying in wicklow co. rather than in the city, although that meant double travel time) and the hospitality was unlike anywhere i've been. i've already started scheming another trip to galway so i can do connemara, mayo and maybe inishmore. absolutely lovely country.

on a different note, will be heading to ireland next week. first time there so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated♥ (will catch u2 there - have an extra ticket if anyone happens to be in town... ;)) and no, i will not be seeking out ~~iker~~ rm. it's the principle of things. (and i don't really know when they're there anyway)

ps: my pup had a spay surgery today. although we discussed this thoroughly with our vet, it was the first neuter surgery after two (male) dogs, and i'm still a bit nervous. can't wait to get her back.

- AF447 - was remembering being hit by a lightening aboard a LH flight hovering over berlin. i was in a window seat over the right wing and saw it hit, sparks and all. the cabin blacked out for a second, but only one engine was compromised and we had no problem landing. this airbus has to be advanced than that so i'm still praying, despite the official annoucements made by AF.

- the tinhattery in my 'the little show that could' fandom is making me dizzy. ~~yes, spn, i'm looking at you~~ it's like the dom'n'lija crazies of lotr all over again. wow. just, wow.

ps: and because katya asked♥ the pup's name is gui, which really doesn't mean much, but we liked the sound of it. it partly comes from this french guy my parents took language lessons with in germany named guiguidon (which we always thought sounded cute) and guigui, in my native tongue, is kind of an onomatopoeic for the act of pushing. thanks for all the great suggestions, guys! *huggles* i'm keeping them listed for the future. ( as for the gal... )
